About Our Tutoring Program

At EmpoweredUth, EduConnect (EUEC), our tutoring program is led by high school students who are passionate about teaching and helping younger students succeed.

We understand how important it is to get a strong foundation in subjects like math, science, reading, and languages, which is why we offer free tutoring to students in grades 1-8.

Our tutors are here to provide the support and guidance needed for younger students to thrive in their education.

How Our Free High School Tutoring Program Works

  • When you sign up, you (or your parents) can explore different subject blocks, such as Math, Science, Coding, and more. Inside each block, you can choose specific subjects like:

    • Math: Regular schoolwork or competitive math...

    • Science: Homework help or advanced topics...

Scroll above to see our course categories, and click to see more details about each category.

  • Depending on the subject, tutoring will either be one-on-one or group-based:

    • Group Lessons: For subjects like Debate, Book Talk, and Public Speaking, we offer group workshops. These lessons typically happen at set times (e.g., every Sunday from 2-4 PM) and can be either online or offline, depending on the activity. You’ll be given the schedule and can sign up based on your availability.

    • One-on-One Lessons: For personalized support in subjects like Math or Science homework, one-on-one tutoring is available by request. These sessions are shorter, designed for catch-up or homework help, and scheduled based on tutor availability. While flexible, we recommend students join group lessons regularly, as one-on-one sessions are meant to supplement—not replace—the core program.

    • Most of our tutoring takes place online, allowing students to learn from home with ease. However, some group workshops and events, such as Book Clubs or specialized courses, may be hosted offline.

  • Throughout the tutoring program, our tutors will monitor each student’s progress, ensuring they are improving and building confidence. For group lessons, there will be assessments to gauge learning, and for one-on-one tutoring, you’ll receive personalized feedback after each session.

Why We Offer Free Tutoring

“As high school students, we understand how important it is to build strong academic skills early on. That’s why we created this free tutoring program—to give back and help younger students in grades 1-8 succeed. By sharing what we’ve learned, we aim to make education easier and more enjoyable for younger kids, while giving them the tools they need to excel.”
