We understand how important it is to get a strong foundation in subjects like math, science, reading, and languages, which is why we offer free tutoring to students in grades 1-8.

How Our Free High School Tutoring Program Works
-
To get started, simply navigate to our Registration Form and select the subject block(s) you’re interested in — such as Math, Science, English, Coding, and more.
You’ll also be asked to choose your level for each subject. We provide suggested levels based on grade (e.g., Grade 1–2 = Level 1), but we understand that every student is different. If you feel ready to challenge yourself, you're welcome to select a higher level.
For some subjects, like Math, we may ask you to complete a short diagnostic test to help us understand your current skills and make sure you're placed where you'll grow best.
-
At EUEC, most of our tutoring takes place in small group settings, which helps build community, confidence, and collaboration. However, for certain situations, we also offer one-on-one support.
Group Lessons (Core Format): Every subject is taught in weekly group sessions. These lessons happen at consistent times (e.g., Sundays from 2–4 PM) and are led by trained volunteer tutors. The timing does not change, and happens by semester.
One-on-One Lessons (By Request): We offer one-on-one tutoring only for specific needs — such as homework help, missed lessons, or extra catch-up support. These sessions are:
Shorter and flexible
Scheduled based on tutor availability
Designed to supplement regular group lessons, not replace them
If you feel you need individual support, you can request a one-on-one session during registration or by contacting our team.
-
Most of our tutoring takes place online, making it easy for students to learn from the comfort of home. We use Google Meet as our main platform for all classes and sessions.
Class links will be sent 15 minutes before the lesson starts!
-
Throughout the tutoring program, our tutors will monitor each student’s progress, ensuring they are improving and building confidence.
For group lessons, there will be assessments to gauge learning such as quizzes, assignments and much more!
For one-on-one tutoring, you’ll receive personalized feedback.
Your child will receive a report card at the end of the semester no matter what subject!
Why We Offer Free Tutoring
“As high school students, we understand how important it is to build strong academic skills early on. That’s why we created this free tutoring program—to give back and help younger students in grades 1-8 succeed. By sharing what we’ve learned, we aim to make education easier and more enjoyable for younger kids, while giving them the tools they need to excel.”
